Nice initiative.

I am also landing in January and have started the preparations. I will be attending the CIIP event on 29,30,31st October. You should also register for it.That is expected to give a lot of help regarding where to look for accommodation.

I also suggest that we all form a whats app group.

Thanks for the info.I tried registering on the newcomer to canada website.However the only location they have for the seminar is NEW Delhi. Did you guys also register for New Delhi??? Anyone travelling from Mumbai to Canada????Already got accommodation for January 2016??

What city/province are you planning to land in? There are *MANY* free resources and organisations for new immigrants, both Federal and Provincial. if you give us an idea of where you are heading in Canada, we can give you links to free, reputable resources which can help you both before and after landing.

I would suggest you be very cautious about paying for any "seminar" ...

Try calling CIIP. They have an online version of the event as well.

Only rely on CIIP as they are from Canadian government and completely free.
