HEllo,

I do not understand the context you are referring to when you say it is the strongest thing for results, as I have applied on 22nd May under General and it is still under processing.

I applied for study permit under general category on June 3rd. (Paper based).

Today, when I tried tracking the status of my PP, it says:

Visa application, tracking ID No.********* – Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office NEW DELHI, on 16/06/2014 to the Canada Visa Application Centre.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.

I haven't received any email from CIC as yet.

How do I find out if my visa application has been rejected or approved?

I got an approval mail and after which when I checked the status, it showed just like yours.
But, I do know of people who havent received any mail yet got their visa.
So, be hopeful buddy.

Just so you know, the same day by evening my status changed to "Your passport is couriered...."
As soon as you see this, call to VFS customer care and get your consignment no. This will atleast help you track your passport.

I received an email from VFS Global soon after I saw the tracking information. But that email just said the same thing, "your processed decision has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office, on 16 Jun 2014 to the Canada Visa Application Centre."

I just hope I get the approval email today. ???

I applied on 22nd last month in another 4 days it will be a complete month. I do not understand what is the reason for such a delay.
Anyway, if they wish it to be a rejection , they can atleast reject it earlier or in the mentioned time frame of 3 weeks.
They should atleast not waste the time of the applicants.

Even i have applied under general category on may 19th still waiting. :-X
