I've PR Visa stamped on my passport and thinking of applying the CIIP program.
But they asked me to attach my PR VISA for eligibilites criteria.
Anybody have experienced the CIIP program before?

I have not lived in Indonesia for more than 6 months since the age of 18, so I did not include it with my application, but about a week ago, CPP Ottawa made a police certificate request, which goes as follows:

Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate from Indonesian authorities. This must be received at this office by: 05/27/2013

Does it mean that, if I can prove that I have not lived in any part of Indonesia for more than 6 months since the age of 18, I would not have to provide it? I could obviously just provide them with the Indonesian PCC, though my parents told me that they would require me to be physically there for fingerprinting before they can provide me with one. Any advice or suggestion? Is it possible at all to obtain PCC from outside of the country?

No need to show yourself physically. You only need to send your fingerprint and photos to your family in Indonesia and ask them to go to "Polsek" for issuing a "Surat Keterangan Catatan Kepolisian" (SKCK) then go to "Polda" to get english version of SKCK. Polsek will need 6 4x6 color photo of you and Polda will need another 2 (better send more in case they need more).

For fingerprint, you need to go to Indonesian Embassy nearest you. However, some embassies do not serve fingerprint taking. In this case, you can ask your family to take empty fingerprint form from Polsek then you take the fingerprint by your self.

Hi Asbereth,

In normal situation, you can get Police Certificate (SKCK - Surat Keterangan Catatan Kepolisian) from Polsek and it depends on where you live (I guess they will ask for your KK - Kartu Keluarga).
Ask your parents to check first which Polsek to go depends on your area.

And then you can go there, ask for SKCK, prepare the photos, get fingerprint ID and other requirements (you better ask the police station directly)
And for English Version you can go to Polda - Semanggi.

But in your case, as belitang has explained, it's better to ask your parents in Indonesia to go to Polsek and ask about getting fingerprint ID in Indonesian's Embassy in Ottawa.
Maybe they will help.

Hi everyone, this is not about your topic, but maybe you can help me with this. My husband work in Jakarta for 6months he need to obtain a police certificate. He already leave Jakarta almost 1 year because of end contract. 1 of the requirements to get a police certifiacte is fingerprint? how can he obtain finger print since he is not alreadyin Jakarta. Hope you can help us with this. I know that you already obtain police certifiacte. Thanks a lot!

Thanks to Almighty God in Jesus Christ, thanks to Mary, Mother of God in my believe, I received my Passport with Maple leave and CORP today. Visa was issued on April 16, 2013 by Singapore Office and was mailed out on April 29th, 2013.

My Intended destination is Vancouver, BC.

nice guy and helpful too. i asked lots of questions and he answered very well even though i did not use his service because finally my family member could help me to get a PCC.
