Are you in canada already?

Hi owlowl2005

Nope.
I'm planning to go there at the end of 2012.
Hopefully everything is ok.

Hello hadikinliongs, thanks God finally someone from Indonesia ;D

I have so many questions, I hope you dont mind
1. Where to find sworn translator? Do CIC appoint or I can choose freely? I lives in Jakarta
2. Should I "legalisir" my Master certificate or photocopy enough?
3. After all complete, I send all document by DHL to Nova Scotia?
4. I my application got rejected, can I get a refund for my processing fee? ;D
5. You know that most of Indonesian Employment reference letter dont put salary and hours work, what should I do? Just provide as-is or ask former employer to redo the employment reference letter?

Thanks alot for any advise.

Hi Sigelopisan,

NOC 7204 Contractors and Supervisors in Carpentry Trades!!

1. Sworn translator can be chosen anywhere as long as they are legal
2. Yes, you should "legalisir" your Master Certificate
3. Yes, NOVA SCOTIA
4. Processing fee is refundable when they reject your application
5. From my experience, ask your former employer to redo and then put the salary and working experience.

Btw, I'm using OCSC GLOBAL Consultant in Slipi, Jakarta.
If you wish to use them, I will give you their contact person / number.
They are fair enough.

Cheers!

Hadikin

Hadikin, thanks alot for your respons.

1. Can you recommend your sworn translator? I really have no idea where to find them, haha
2. So, legalisir Master certificate is all they need? do they need any letter from University?
3. I'll redo my employment letter. btw, should I ask them to put my job decs too?

You might need original transcript from the university.
It would be good if you could add job description in the letter of employment. Alternatively add your contract too. It's better to give as much information on employment.
I didn't use any agent, btw how much an agent would charge for their service?

Hi Sigelopisan,

1. My sworn translator? I must check it with my consultant first. I don't remember their name and address. But i thing any legal sworn translator will be good enough

2. Legalisir your Master Certificate is enough. Just give what they asked. The academic documents are representing your proof to get points. Btw, have you check your eligibility points? are you passing the mark?

3.You should put your job description.

Cheers,

Hadikin

Greetings, fellow Indonesians :D Congratulations, hadikinliongs for your PR :D !!!

Anyway, just to add what hadikinliongs was saying, you do need to provide certified copies (and certified translations obviously) of any documents that are not written in English or French, so you'd definitely need to do that for your diploma. Also, if you check the document checklist, you'd note that you need official transcripts as well to claim educational points (this is really important since they need to also verify the total number of years of full-time study).

And there have been a lot of rejection cases due to mismatches of job descriptions or insufficient evidence thereof, so, as hadikinliongs has mentioned, if your letters of reference do not contain any of the information they require, it's probably a good idea to try to include them as well. Yes, try to have your employers redo the letters to also include salary, hours and job descriptions. They may conceivably request you to submit more information, though it's much safer to try to get it right the first time.

Anyway, good luck with your application, and let us know what you end up doing.

Hi Sigelosipan,

First, i think, you should wait until the new noc number release early next month. If your noc number still appeared you can apply, if not ?

Second, job description is the important things in the application. You should describe well not just copy and paste from the cic website.

Third, if you can apply by yourself, you better do it. Why, because they will charge more than 3k.

Btw, It is a pleasure to know many Indonesian in this forum.

Hello friends who answer my questions. Thank you very much.

Yes, I'm plan to wait for NOC release on early July. Right now, I'm preparing my documentation and make sure everything OK.

Right now, I'm asking my former employer to redo my recommendation letter to put salary and job desc. Question remain, how should the letter's date appear? should it back-dated or just put the date they print my letter?? (really confuse)

I'm not plan to use any agency as I also know that they will charge around 3K upto 4.5K

Hello everyone,

nice to be in Indonesian forum. I submitted my application thru OCSC on September 30, 2011. Later, I realize that OCSC can not be a legal representative for Canadian PR applicant as stated in www.cic.gc.ca. After finding out that, I disengaged the elected Immigration Consultant to represent me and decided to go on on my own in PR application process.

Any way, FYI, my Ecas stated the following:

1) "We received your application on September 20, 2011"
2)"We started processing your application on March 12, 2012"

At this time, I am in the stage of waiting for my MR. Hope God will lend a hand in this strive.

Good Luck folks, may God render His mercy to all of us.

Hi Hadikinliongs,
When did you received ur MR? Did you get notification on email before receiving the MR (Medical Request)? Was the mail sent to you by regular registered mail or DHL?

Many Thanks.

Hello Hadikinliongs and other friends,

I need your advise whether I should include all my diploma from Elementary school, Junior high or High school? Or just the latest one (I have Master degree). If I should include them all, now I have a problem because my elementary and junior high school located far from Jakarta... :-X

Thanks guys

Hi sigelopisan,

All you need to send are diploma and transcript from your university or college. Legalize it first to your university or co. They can translate your need into english. No need to send sd, smp and sma diploma.
