Any views regarding student visa for ESL course ??

I was wondering if CIC gives visa for ESL ( English as Second Languge) ?
Did anyone apply before and any experience in this case .

Student visa are given if you are going to study for 6 months or more.
Depending on the duration of the course you might need one or not.
Some university or colleges requires that course so people include it in their application.
Example a 4 months ESl course + 2yr diploma. Then you will need a visa.
If you are from a visa required country and want to study for 3 months ESL you will still need a visa.
