Hello
I'm an international student with study permit and I'm finishing my master's on December 2018 and I will start my PhD program in different university after completing my master's.
The problem is since I have to start PhD on September 2019 for differential fee waiver (DFW) to pay less tuition (if I start on January 2019, they would not offer me DFW and I wouldn't be able to pay all tuition until the end of PhD program), there will be eight months of gap from January to August 2019. I want to work on campus from the university that I'm doing master's until I start my PhD but I wouldn't be student anymore after December 2018..
Although working on the campus is my priority, I guess I can't work for eight months while waiting for PhD according to what Government of Canada indicates, "Students who have completed a program of study and will be starting a new program of study within 150 days of receiving a written confirmation of program completion from their current institution."

I don't want to delay my master's program until next year and also don't want to apply for work permit just for working for 8 months...
Is there anyone who has encountered similar problem as I have right now? if so, could you give any advice?
Thanks very much
