Any one with NOC 0632

I have been reading and learning from this forum for few months now, but I am yet to see any applicant with NOC 0632. It is on the 38 list, however, among the members of this forum it seems like a rare commodity.

NOC 0632 pertains to accomodation service managers or hotel managers.

I am one of them. I applied early 2008 before they issued the 38 occupation list and am still waiting. Medicals and everything have been done but I am waiting for passport request since July 2009.

It is good to see at least few other people under the same NOC. I received my file # from ND CHC in July of 2009, and my file has been in process since September 2009. No news of the medicals yet. If you are waiting for ppt. request since July 2009, I can't hope for an early resolution either. Did you enquire about your current status? Best of luck.

I don't know if these guys really need us or not. I applied in March 2008 and the occupation list was not out at that time. It came out in September 2008 I think. I did my medicals in June 2009 and I am still waiting. I applied from Buffalo US. I am currently in US and don know when this wait going to be over?

Hello pet6121, I received request for medicals on 02.15.10 and I plan to get it done within 10-15 days. Just the fact that they are still processing applications under 0632, and it is on the 38 list, gives me hope that hotel managers may not be in high demand, but we may still be able to get into Canada. Hope for the best.

I am pretty sure they need us but its juss waiting for so long is kindda frustrating. Most likely other professions like IT guys are in more demand than us so they are getting thru pretty quickly than us.
