Any one waiting for passport request after an interview??

here is the timeline.
Interview: 6th May
Medical done: 7th MAy
Medical Received by CIC: 13th May
Decision Made:6th July

So exactly 2 months after the interview status has changed.

No, we haven't received an email yet...our decision made came up only a week after the interview and I think that's because we had done the medical 2 months ago. Well, let's hope we both get our emails this week or latest by next week. At least then you might get to enjoy the last month of summer here!

I have a question....

If background checks are in and my husband is approved in the interview with his medical expiring just over a month after the interview date, can the IO issue the visa for him at the time of the interview??? Even though the interview is at the Embassy of Canada in Sweden NOT London, UK (where the visas are normally issued from)...................??

Anyone know my husband done interview in New Delhi and he got pre arrival service later but they didn’t request passport yet it’s like almost 2 weeks now
