ANY One Got VISA From CHC ABUDHABI

I live in bahrain, i sent my documents on 21st june.
the documents included:
passport
financial information
sponsors/parents letter of support
and the application.
Received the medical call on 20th of july.
re-sent my passport on the 27th of july.
still waiting for the visa.

2-you or your parents don't have enough money for this study.
2nd reason is 100% wrong as i am sponsor of my wife not her parents.
and 1st one i have shown all my job letters and salary slips

Few minutes ago I received this email from Abu Dhabi visa office:
Dear ******* ************* ***********:
This refers to your application for a Canadian study permit. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:
Valid passport or travel document for yourself, your spouse and your children. This must be received at this office by: 15/09/2011
I just want to make sure that this is actually an APPROVAL.
Can someone confirm that for me?

Hold on, does the CHC in Abu Dhabi send back passports when they ask for medicals? :S
Because they asked for my medical but never sent me my passport. I got the medical done and the doctor sent it on to London. I've read a lot of posts around here and almost everyone gets their passport back when they're asked to give a medical exam but I just assumed Abu Dhabi doesn't do that. :S
