Out of the two of us, I'm the obsessive one haha.

When I'm checking eCas like some kind of fiend, is it okay to keep using my UCI and looking at the PR section that way? Will it update to DM etc. at the same time as it would if I was using the applicant's UCI? (we actually dont have his UCI, but we can use the app number with his info)

Just wanna know if I should memorize that instead, haha.

No, it will give you just the sponsorship application part and not the PA part. You better of using a case/file # once you got it, this, together with a sponsor details will give you access to both sponsorship and PA application status on the same webpage.

My UCI does give me both. I see the sponsor's section and the applicant's section. I'm asking if the applicant's section will update the same that way as it would with his info.

If you see them both, then yes, it should update - it links to the database.

Thx. I figured, but I'd feel like an idiot if it switched to DM and I was still sitting here not having him check the mail :P

You got SA in a few days after AOR? Nice. I am curious to see if you get a super fast process like we did.

I never actually got AOR. I just counted the day on the SA that said 'we started processing on'. But my SA->IP->3rd line was crazy quick.

Now that you have gotten sponsor approval, you may not be able to see his process go any further.

I know when my application processed, once my hubby got SA, he could see that my application was 'accepted' and that was all he could see. It never updated beyond that point from his perspective. Had to log in using my UCI and information to get that part of it.

Using my UCI I was able to see his switch from App received to in process, and then a few days later the third line showed up. When I use the app number it shows whatever the sponsor UCI one does. Just not sure if it was the same simultaneously.

My husband is my approved sponsor. We use his uci and name to log in to check my pr application progress. I don't have my own uci. When will I get a uci of my own.?

Just use the application number along with your information. Honestly I'm not sure when you get a UCI. On the COPR I assume, the AOR and SA only have my UCI on it (my spouse already had one from work permits/visitor records).
