You really don't need a lawyer or consultant to get you through this. It's really simple (if a bit tedious) but you'd save time and money doing it yourself, not to mention having full control of the situation.

most irish people are doing their applications themselves unless there's something complicated. If you just want someone to look over your stuff, immigration consultants are cheaper than lawyers. your job offer only counts for extra points if it comes with an LMIA. Good luck!

Irish here, EE is straight forward and dont waste your money on a lawyer....consultant if you must but its all online and straight forward.

So you have an LMIA approved job offer then?

Create a profile and your points should be around 850+
Receive ITA
Have medical done and upload it

You might need proof of funds unless you have a valid work permit?

The LMIA process is employer-driven - meaning that your employer has to advertise the job, submit the paperwork, etc. You really can't do this for them. Information on the requirements can be found here:

yes, the LMIA is all the employer. Its free for PR and $1000 for work permit. WHy not ask him to apply for both....a dual intent and get a work permit?

If you're a carpenter you could look into PNP but you may need Canadian recognized qualification like red seal
