Any Ideal Location For Someone Not Ice Fan?

I was just wondering, there must be some province or cities in Canada for someone who is not that much fan of snow and more of the warmer weather kinda person.

Can anyone please suggest such location in Canada for someone who is not fan of extreme cold weather?

Vancouver maybe, otherwise why even chose Canada over Australia if you do not like cold weather the worst of which is not all year , mostly a few concentrated months over the winter, although with weather and locations there are exceptions of course ? You will be missing out on so much the whole country has to offer.

If you are looking for warm weather, you are coming to the wrong country.

Vancouver is your only choice if you want to avoid extreme weather. Halifax is fairly moderate by Canadian standards as well, but ice and snow for 4-6 months. Halifax is a small city, Vancouver is a big city. Unless you like living a fairly isolated country style life, Vancouver is pretty much it.

Since he chose Canada, like others, he can be a snowbird - flocking to tropical countries to escape from the cold weather in Canada.

That’s true or else just turn the heating up to a tropical temp and stay indoors November through March until the worst has passed by, basically hibernate only coming out for groceries.

Or he can order his shopping online and stay at home (preferably in a condo building where the management company will take care snow removal) during those months.

If you want year round warm weather, outside Canada.

If you want the mildest winters possible, coastal BC (Victoria, Vancouver), where temperatures can go below freezing, but normally don't for extended periods.

If you want hotter summers than that and are prepared to compromise slightly on the winter, then valleys in interior BC have 'summer weather' for most of the year, warmer than the coast, but winters of around -10 to -15 for a couple of months.
