don't worry, some people saw the CIC website updates after they submit 6 months

yah i tried it but it says its not the correct rceipt number..our Receipt number starts with a letter C and followd by a nine numbers? is that really the rcpt number?may i knw if im mistaken please thank you

we pay thru the bank not via online..do they have any differences in the rcpt number i mean the letters?

thank you..but within that 6 months is it a guratee that our papers was in process already? jusy worry because my sister is turning 22 and if it wasnt process ders a possibilty that she will not be accepted as a dependent because she havent enroll and becAME A full time student thats why im really trying to ask and get some idea on what we are supposed to do in case like this.

your sister's age is locked in when they receive/process the application and CPC-M starts processing application about 40 days after they get it so she should be fine

Did you send your application through mail registered? I notice that most of the applicants who sent their mails registered got the updates sooner. Registered mail can be track online or by phone. You can see the name of the person who received it from the Immigration office and keep a record of it even the signature.

If you don't have Client ID No. yet and you can't log on to e-cas online to check for updates on your application, try calling CIC and ask if they can give you your Client ID No.. I heard it's best to call at 8 am but it depends on your Time Zone...
