any idea/prediction on next CEC draw and cut off 2022

Hey guys
any idea on how much will be the cut off for CEC draws in 2022 ? Will it be below 400 again ? Last year the cut off were below 400 a couple of times- can we expect this to happen again in 2022 ?

We don't know.

There are some indications draws might not take place until much later this year which means scores will be very high.

Best to assume scores will not drop below 400.

How did it drop to 75 last year then - any idea

How much will be the approx cut offs - any guesses ?

Also When there is general draw - are people who have 1 year work ex in canada also eligible for that or they are only eligible to be picked up if the draw is CEC specific ?

The 75 drop was something IRCC did on purpose to invite all CEC applicants in the pool at that time. This has never happened before and many expect this will never happen again. Of course anything is possible and it may happen again. But don't count on it.

If draws don't resume until later this year, cut offs will be somewhere above 450.

When there is a general draw, CEC applicants qualify to be selected. However they must compete against FSW applicants who generally have higher scores. There have been now FSW or general draws in over a year and there are many people with high scores waiting. Cut offs for a general draw will likely be 480+ at first and probably won't drow below 470. Certainly they won't get anywhere close to 400.

EE will be suspended for another year.
And in 2023 the score will be 500+.
I would say to not expect CEC lower than 400 in the next 5 year, unless COVID-20 occurs.
