I am pretty sure you have a fair chance with a crs score of 440 in the coming draws. The score has to come down . Upcoming 14th draw will show a close Picture on how the things are going to unfold in the coming draws. The score will definitely pick up candidates with 440 and above in the coming draws. It wad really facinating that the score dropped to 451 with only 1500 ita means there were only 1500 candidates all around the world with a score of 451 and above. And pnps and lmios are not issued on the daily basis and even also lmios takes 3 to 4 months to do all the pAper work. I ll assume next to be 444.

The most commonly used line on this forum: "Upcoming [enter number here] draw will be instrumental in showing us how things will unfold."

Then the draw happens and everyone is pissed :D

How are you so certain to say "NO"

Congratulations for your ITA but let's give others some hope too.
Even the CIC website says anyone above 400 has a significant chance of getting an ITA.

My score last February was 353. I did ECA and added 30 points. so it became 383.
Tried celpip but couldnt increase my points, same score and nothing changed. Then I did the celpip test again and just got my score.
Now I have 441 points. So never give up and soon we will be invited.

You will gain nothing from bringing others down and remember the fact u have a ITA doesn't mean u will get a PR.

The prediction of the next draw's score is almost as good as anyone can guess. So there is no need to curse someone for saying NO to the OP.

Remember what happened the last time when CRS cut off came down to 453? There was no draw for 6 weeks and the next CRS score was 755.

So, we should sit tight and let CIC do what they do and wait our turns. Also keep trying to improve our scores while we wait.

Good luck everyone.

@ KARAN 91 - it took time for me to respond because no reason for giving you unnecessary fame and attention...
you have your ITA doesn't mean you have a PR yet.
I have a Canadian wife and a beautiful daughter. been married to my wife for more than 3 years, could have applied for sponsorship but i didn't cos i,m a man- real man-
try as much as possible to fight and earn every bit myself.

i Hope you pass your Background check.

Its his opinion! Isn't that what you were hoping to get when you asked the question? So, it has nothing to do with someone being a man or not and/or to get famous.

Ignore me if you were expecting everyone to say "yea 440 is gonna get invitation this Friday."

I wish you all the best, hope you get that elusive ITA soon.

There are probably far more applicants in the 440 - 450 range than 450 - 550 range. Don't expect any big sudden drop in scores.

Alright folks. Let's address all this hate I am getting.

The question asked was whether there is any hope for those with 440 points. Given that there is presently no science that may allow us to predict the future path with regards to cut off scores, any answers put forward cannot possible be objective.

It is my opinion that there is no hope for those with 440. Again, one must take in to account that my answer assumes that the OP wants this answered in the context of the short to medium term and doesn't care about if the cut off was to go down to 440 ten years from now.

This has nothing to do with me having an ITA. This has nothing to do with anyone having a Canadian spouse or child. There is no need to get personal.

The government's message based on existing and previous cut off scores is clear. Two years or more of Canadian work experience with good language results and a Canadian education is essentially the cut off at this point. Simple as that.

Not too sure about the bold bit, but overall a response based on reality. +1.

That was a very general statement just to illustrate that one year of Canadian work experience won't cut it at this point. Cheers.
