To be honest, I find the IRCC website intimidating and had technical and other challenges with my visitor's visa.
I have received a job offer.
Are there any good online guides to successfully complete the process?
Thank you.

Do you have an approved LMIA from your employer along with the job offer?

If you have a job offer with LMIA, you apply for a work permit not a visitor visa.

If you have a job offer with LMIA, you don’t apply for a work permit.

You would still need to apply for a work permit. You can't work based on a job offer and LMIA alone.

Thanks for your reply.

Not yet but we're working on it.

A related question so I don't have to make another post.

My Visitors Visa application has been accepted and in process. I was recently told by someone I'll have to wait until it's approved before I can apply for a work permit. Something about you can't have more than one pending application with the IRCC. Do you know if that's true?
