Any fee for Dependent's Right of Permanent Resident Fee (RPRF)

Hello All,

Need your suggestion on below question.

Few days back I received "Permanent resident landing interview" letter for my 3 years old son from CIC. My son is with me in Canada on Temporary Resident Permanent (TRP), I am his Sponsor & he is dependent child (in Canada).
In this letter under heading "Right of Permanent Resident Fee (RPRF) Payment", CIC mention that "The Right of Permanent Resident Fee is $490.00. Please note that only Convention refugees do not have to pay this fee"

However, as per this website link, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp#permanent
The RPRF does not apply to:

• the dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor

My question is do I have pay RPRF fee (490$) for dependent child or there is no RPRF fee for dependent child ?

No ...only $150 is required

Completed the landing process for my dependent child without having to pay any RPRF fee
