Greetings,
Tomorrow I will be submitting my visa/study permit application.
I have done all ground work based on information available on CIC,please share if anything else needs to be taken care.
best regards,best luck to all

Are you sending all your old passports with your docs (if you have any)?

Thanks Hardeep.

asad100101,

what do you mean by all ? and old passport ? there is only one passport at any given point of time

I meant your old/expired/previous passports. Have a look at this link:

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/pakistan/study-etudie/study_permit-permis_etudes.aspx?lang=eng

I was wondering if it was the same for Indian applicants as well.

@ Asad,

that's not a a mandatory for all applicants.
Look i lost my passport and got a newer one this time. so how could i send them the lost one :o

the requirement is just to verify to how many tours abroad this applicant has traveled so far.

there is no worry at all.

And visa requirements varies from country to country .

Like in India students often apply under SPP program that is working here in Pakistan and vice versa.

Hasant,
Q1: Let's suppose, if one has been refused student visa by Australia and USA previously. There were refusal stamps on their expired/old passport. If one sends it along with his/her current passport, won't it create a negative impression on his/her current student application for Canadian student visa.

Q2: How were you able to get a new passport when you had lost your previous one? what docs had u submitted?I got my new passport as my two previous passports were expired. I got my previous passport number on the new one( i.e old passport number was listed on my new passport, along with my current passport number). How can I lie that I didn't have an old passport(original)?

Would it there be a problem if we don't send our old/expired passports at all?
