Hi Everyone,

Could anyone please give advice if immigration possible, and under what program and category?

A younger person with a mechanical engineering degree, but only 2 years of internship, no full-time work experience in the NOC occupation as of yet. No family in Canada. Engish proficiency is around 5-6 in IELTS.

Any chances to apply or not? Does the person have to obtain at least a year of full-time employment or get Canadian educational experience in order to be able to apply?

I used to be familiar with the Canadian Immigration rules very well years ago, but reading trough the CIC website today I see that many things have changed, so by briefly reading it's very hard to grasp all the details for eligibility in all of the currently available programs and categories.

Any responses with your opinions on this matter would be greatly appreciated!

if you want to apply through FSW you need at least a year of continuous work experience in NOC 0, A or B. Your IELTS score seems bad as well. My advice to you is to read carefully everything on the cic website and then come back here if you have more questions
