PR application got refused a week and half ago simply because CIC had the wrong provincial nomination certificate on file.

I got nominated in July via the Atlantic Immigration Pilot program but I couldn’t continue with submitting my application because I no longer work with the employer, I then submitted another application to the province via express entry and I got nominated first week of September but my previous nomination was withdrawn before the new one was issued and my Pr application refused because my nomination is withdrawn (according to cic). I then called them and the agent I spoke with confirmed the transmitted nomination certificate to cic is the one withdrawn.

I reached out to my province and they confirmed my active nomination is not withdrawn, requested for reconsideration and I am waiting now but I just checked my credit account I used for payment and both my application and rprf refunded, is there any chance that my application will be reopened considering the fact that this is entirely not my fault ?

not an expert on pnp but just by some logic thinking , your application was for pnp from place 1, pnp from place 2 is a different application to do from scratch

Maybe I’m not clear enough so the two nomination are for two entirely different programs, the first one doesn’t require that I create a profile with cic at all as it’s paper based but couldn’t continue with it because I left the job, second nomination is via EE labor market steam and the app is online, got the second nomination from the provincial government and the previous one was withdrawn and I submitted my Pr based on the new nomination via EE online application

not sure what the difference is, if it was withdrawn before your new one was issued it means that in all case there was a time you were without nomination

meaning that you didn't have enough and your application would be cancelled. were you expecting they'd "hold" it while your new one is issued?

It’s not the same, I got my ITA after the provincial nomination brouhaha and shouldn’t have had any effect on my score

when your provincial nomination was withdrawn, you were no longer eligible for PNP anymore to begin with. i'm thinking out of common sense here

I think he meant, He got a nomination then cancel it. Got new nomination got 600 points, then got ITA, then submit and they didn't update his file.

whe was your AOR ?

When I got my first nomination I didn’t have any express entry profile because it’s not required, application is paper based.

When I got another job, I started the process via EE (online), created EE profile, applied to the province for second time and got nominated, 600 points added to my EE and I got my ITA so doesn’t have anything to do with my first nomination.

what caused the problem was that my nomination information was wrongly sent, they sent the first one (already withdrawn)instead of the second one

To be honest CIC's decision makes sense since withdrawing a nomination is making your PNP profile invalid. If you want to switch to another nomination you should first withdraw the whole file from CIC and create another one. Don't worry too much since you are still qualified for PNP with the new file.

You guys are not getting this, I guess it’s because Atlantic Immigration Pilot program is a regional program so many folks doesn’t know how it works, I can’t even use the first nomination for Express entry

AOR was September 9th, refusal was 21st of October. I was surprised I got the refund that quick

This is right, the first doesn’t have any effect on my crs score at all
