Feels like its really hard to get, looking at no participation yet.
That's because you're making it very difficult for anyone to help. Post your specific questions and this will increase the chances of an answer.

You also need to be far more realistic about how long it might take for someone to answer. Be prepared to wait several hours or possibly even a few days. If you don't want to wait for an answer - hire an immigration consultant or lawyer. If you want free advice - learn to wait.

Hello Scylla,

Sorry. Was actually waiting for a quick reply. Apologies for wrong waiting speculation. Had very quick replies in my last posts. That's why.

Would you please be able to direct me towards a link or something which is related to people with approved LMIA's.
Tried searching for it but couldn't find it anywhere.

Would really appreciate your help.

Hi gsantosjr,

Thanks for replying. Actually my question was about advertisement since it is most crucial step for approval.

How many resumes (approx.) did you received in your ad and did your employer interviewed all of them?

I actually have a lot of questions but will go one by one. Sorry. Really worried about the process.

Hi,
I was not aware of the whole process as it was carried out by the company, not me, but it is my understanding that they receive a great number of resumes after advertising.

I guess it depends on the job you are being considered to, if it is a really specific job or not.
In a specific job, I guess an advertise may draw something like 30 resumes? I do not have the exact number.

I also do not believe they interview all of them.
A filter may be applied at this point, as they might want to stick to the requirements of the position.

I am not sure I can answer all your questions, but I might try.
Maybe some expert here can fill in the blanks we leave.

Thanks gsantosjr, your answer was also an expert one and comforting.

Well just 30 resumes in a month ad is not a very big number. Your job must be very specific and highly skilled. Actually mine is not.

I see, but what is your major concern?
Are you concerned you will not be selected among many candidates?

Hi gsantosjr,

Yes exactly that's what my major concern is. My employer is supposed to superiorate me in comparison to other applicants and tell the Govt. that I am the best for the position in their company.

But when it comes to my position. Its not highly skilled or in shortage in Canada which would create hindrance in proving that to the Govt.

I understand your feeling.
I guess we all happen to be in the same position as you are right now.

Are you currently working in Canada?
If so, and your employer is willing to hire you permanently, he must already have seen the advantages of having you in the company instead of a local worker.

My understanding is that the Government allows that a company hires an advisor to get the LMIA for them.
Maybe you could recommend that to your employer? I think this would be a great option.

The advisor would work with the company to maximize the chance of a positive LMIA.

Come on gsantosjr, you have already got your LMIA. You are far ahead of all of us.

yes, I am currently working in Canada. I already have an account with some immigration agency and they will be assisting us in the application.

Is that what you mean by the advisor?

Sorry, I meant that we are all in your position at some point.
I had the exact same feeling as you have right now, and unfortunately it requires patience and positive thinking.

I was talking about an advisor assisting not you, but your employer.
I believe this is a different mandate.

Hi gsantosjr

Are those two different approaches?

I mean an immigration consulant hired by me for assisting my employer would do the same thing what a consultant hired directly by my employer would do.

Please advise what you did for your case?
