^have you tried contacting employment agencies to give you any entry level job?
as for accounting, getting designation is a long process, it will take years if you are starting from scratch.
you can go for bookkeeping certificate that takes months only,
the problem here in Canada is that immigrants can do the job but some employers are looking for local experience.
I had problems too getting accounting job when I arrived, I tried survival jobs first to get experience and references then did volunteer tax filing too, even some employment agencies won't entertain you if no local experience but some do, it's also luck, job availability, good resume, good communication skills and confident in interviews!

Bro

I have applied for immigration in July'14; currenty i am doing ACCA of which 7 (out of 14) papers have been completed.I am expecting to get visa within 2015; i am in great confusion whether to continue my course or not as canadian employers do no recognize qualifications gained from other countries. if i will complete at least part 2 in ACCA, will this make any help finding job in Canada?
Actually, if UK degree does not recognized in Canada, then i want to stop my current course.

Please help if you know anything about my query.
