i have been working as a network engineer for 4 years now in a company which is one of the biggest ISP's here in my country and recently i have been offered a position as an IP planning manager at Ericsson's managed network services for ZainGSM, the pay is nearly the same no big difference and the experience well its different, im a CISCO guy mostly and i will be working with totally different equipment there, my question is and what i have in mind is that its not worth switching jobs at the moment because according to my timeline i should be close in getting a medical request soon, the time it takes for me to blend in will be at least 6 months and it will be a bit difficult to tell them at that point that im leaving, i have been struggling the past 3 days wondering what would be the right thing to do and i hoped that any one of you guys went though a similar situation, thanks in advance. :)

I am an IT/ business consulting guy myself
Now, you may not be landing for a year or so.
I would take the new job if it is better for my life and future regardless of Canada, no Canada, or Canada next year or the year after.
Also, you can always go land for a week and come back to your life here for a year or so then move.

CongratSsssssssssss

So happy for you :) all the best

Hi,
Its been so long since I wrote here, I almost forgot the password, and a lot happened as well since I changed my job and moved to another country.
But yesterday I received some updates, so I though I should tell you to keep your hopes high.

I received an email asking me to do the medical test, and pay the fee (the $490 one), and submit some other documents again that was sent at the initial phase. I have 60 days to do so, and mainly the documents are to redo the forms and applications filled when I first submitted my application, and do the police clearance again, updated proof of funds (with a history of 6 months), height, eyes color, and copy of all passport pages.

You can see my timeline on the profile summary.

Have a good day.

Many Congrats ... Good News.
Did they send you the MR by email?
