This refers to your application for permanent residence. Please be advised that we are changing the computer program used to process immigration cases. We have closed your file in our old system and re-created it in our new system. All your information has been transferred. You can continue to use your old file number but please note that a new file number has also been assigned to your case. You can find it in the subject line of this e-mail.
For the moment, there are no other changes to your application. Please remain patient, we will contact you when your case reaches the next step in processing.
