I recently applied and had answered "no" to the question asking if I had any family members who had tuberculosis in the past 2 years, However I was diagnosed April 2019 Complete medication September 2019 (Six Months) its been 2 years and 1 month upon diagnosed. Since I just lodge my application last May 14,2021 that is why I answered "no" I need to know if it might be considered as misrepresentation. I just passed my medical exam just now June 4,2021, Still waiting for the final result. Please give me some feed back so I can sleep :(

Hi, I answered no because I base when I was diagnosed which is April 2019, I didn't considered upon the completion, because the question on IMM form is not specific. I'm just confused.

It states within the past two years. TB just didn’t go away in April 2019 as that is when you were diagnosed. You needed months of treatment because it is a highly infectious disease. Does your medical mention that you had TB.

Yah, but according on the timeline, TB is active/infectious only for two weeks.. but you have to complete 6months medication. I don't have any intention to hide it that is why I declared my medical history upon my medical. My x ray is clear and they didn't see lung scar. They just ask me for a medical clearance and passed it already just today.. I'm just waiting for the final decision for my Student permit application.
