hahahahaha, can't believe people are looking for the reading and listening answers of an exam that's going to be held after 8 days. Just trust yourself and your capabilities, and write the exam. All the best!

next GW test is on the 20th, that is next Saturday. You can discuss answers after the exam on this thread here.
If you are looking for Academic, am sure there will be a discussion this evening, although the reading module for GW and Academic are different. Also, this isn't the thread for Academic, considering this forum is for emigration aspirants, not for those looking to get into university.

Hey all test takers for 20th January. Its a few hours to the test. Please use this feed to tell us your experience, what you did that made the difference for you, how your prepared, what materials you used and if possible your approach to each questions and in each sections. you can also share your questions and answered if you can remember them including the writing section. For the listening and reading test, one key to note that is very useful is key words and thinking of synonyms for those key words. In the 30 sec given in the listening to study the questions, quickly underline these key words and think of possible synonyms (not enough time though) but this thinking comes as you listen for possible synonyms as the tape may help you. Make sure also that the number of words do not exceed. At this point, we may be tempted to use just a word, but be careful because you are listening for words that completes the sentence accurately and grammatically. The most difficult is the MCQ where options are given. key words will also help you and try to immediately eliminate options while you listen (don't panic).
In the reading test, the most challenging is the Y, N NG and T, F, NG questions. For the true and yes questions, mark out the key words, use this to match the passage, using this key words and matching, is the meaning same? if yes, then its true or yes, if not same, is it the opposite?, then its false or No, but if it is not same and not opposite, then its not given.
I found this course very useful; https://www.edx.org/course/ielts-academic-test-preparation-uqx-ieltsx-1 for future test takers you will find it intersting. Though it is academic, the pattern is pretty much same except the writing task 1.

I would like to ask, is the exam in Idp is similar to BC in listening and reading on the same day?
It is the same all over the world, implementing due process. And if you can find someone whos in a time zone that could help you to crack the exam on the same date definitely they did before you and made another exam form , don not bother ...
