ANOTHER CHANGE?

Hi everybody,

The last paragraph of the link http://www.cicnews.com/2009/02/canada-decrease-immigration-targets-nows-time-submit-application-02700.html saying that "...After the Immigration Minister’s meeting at the end of March, it may become more difficult for you to qualify or it may take you longer to realize your plans to come live and work in Canada"

Is qualifying mark going to be changed?

Do you know anything about it?

This is old news, I am not sure if they will change the qualifying mark, in worst case scenario, they will slow down the immigration for a while. Although, I haven't heard any confirmation on this that they will be slowing down for 2009. I thought the pace was already slow.

BCguy posted that they will be reducing the number of temporary workers and increasing the number of PR approval.
i hope he's right.

This is old news and will not work Predictions already indicates that canada's mild recession will be over next year

i guess, they can increase slab of ielts, people will need to score higher to qualify,
that is what was done by HSMP, UK and australia
