Medicals done in the first week of November....still waiting...ordered GCMS today to see if there is a confirmation for medical. Unlike some other embassies, Ankara office does not update the online profile for the results of medical.

If the status of the security check in the note was passed and your medical passed you will get passport request. Maybe your file is waiting for security check to pass. Some officer update and some don't. There is no rule.

Guys, I need your help again please !! I am filling up the "Use of Representative" application and I am not sure what I need to write in the fields "If you have already submitted your application: Name of office where the application was submitted and Location of office" ?

CPC-Mississauga, Mississauga, Ontario OR Embassy of Canada, Ankara, Turkey ?

P.S. I did not send them "Use of Representative" form when they asked me to submit all documents to CPC-Mississauga and now the file is in Ankara ???

Please advise !

Never mind ! I figured it out ! I called to the Call Center of Immigration Canada and the guy gave me detailed explanation.

That's true. I received the passport request on Friday Nov.22, on Saturday, Nov.23 my status was updated to medical received. Yes,I am not mistaken, on Saturday.
My medical was extremely fast. Nov.18 medical was in London, Nov.22 got a passport request. I am still surprised.
I wish all of you the same speed !

Anybody knows what the wait time is between medical and passport request from Ankara? My parents did their medical 2 months ago, and the results are in Ankara. No word yet on passport request.

Hi Getin,

It's end of the year and usually by this time they reach the yearly limit of visas. So, most probably they will start issuing the visas from the middle of January 2014. Do not forget that Ankara has a limit of 300 visas per year for the Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship.

Unfortunately, 300 visas in total for all countries that under responsobility of Ankara: Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Cyprus, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Jordan... So, probably it's about 30 visas per country...

I have a question for you. My friend is going to sponsor his parents. Do you have any idea about new roles for sponsoring parents? I knew that it is going to start again on 2014 .but could not find any link or any document for that.
