Yes, my mom did medical last week. The medical results were received in London on Monday, Nov18 and on Friday Nov.22 we got the passport request. I think they communicate electronically, it is why it can be done that fast. OMG, I still can not beleive in it!!!!

I finally received the MEDICAL FORMS today! That is so exciting to me! BUT there is no request for police certificate yet, however I will send it to them very soon to avoid any potential delays if they discover that there is no police certificate on my file yet

Is there any cases out there with the medical request for a non-accompanying family member (an older child) along with the medical request for the parents? I don't really know why but they requested the medical for my brother who is about 40 years old. He was not on my parents file as a dependent or accompanying family member!!! Do you think this is a mistake?????????? any experiences???????

Guys, do you think it would be possible to send them the Police Certificate now ? Is not it too late ? Or I should wait an instructions from the embassy ? I just thought that If I will send them the Police Certificate it's somehow will speed up the process and they might send the medical forms....

according to the guide 3900:
The Right of Permanent Residence Fee, which will be requested by CIC at a later stage if your application is approved.

Note. We strongly recommend paying the Right of Permanent Residence Fee along with your processing fees. By doing so, it will reduce the processing time of your application.
You can pay it on-line from inside Canada. I paid $980 for my family (mom-dad-my sister).

If I read correctly from the information below your profile ID, your file was transferred to Ankara in December of 2012. SJooya's and Mine were transferred to Ankara in May of 2012. In fact, I remember that his file was transferred about a week after mine. He received medical exam a week after. Your turn should come soon. If I were you, I would wait for the additional instructions that come with the medical request. Your parents can do the medical exams along with getting police clearance.

Per info that I received from my MP - the file was transferred to Ankara back in July 2012, but the file is in process status since the beginning of December 2012. I was wondering if it's possible to go and get the medical tests without the instructions/medical forms from the embassy ?

I am a bit confused. Is it an additional fee that needs to be paid before they issue the visa ? I remember that when I filed for the sponsorship back in January 2008, I paid $1100 for 2 applicants.
