Thank you!!!! To me it is a great news, as my mom was refused for visiting Canada 3 times and she has never been here, though I am here 10 years already!!!

Yes, we might have to consider it soon. The only way to apply for the super visa is through the Local Visa Office.

So strange, a week ago I sent the email to my MP with a request to check the status of my file and did not receive yet any reply from

If you are applying for extension to stay through the super visa program then you can do it through Vegreville, AB, even if the entry visa on the passport has expired. You don't need to apply through Ankara unless you want a new entry visa stamped in the applicant's passport.
