My wife, American, wants to apply for permanent residence here, but our real goal is to live and work in the USA. We just want to cover all our bases and have the option in the next 3-5 years to move back if things don't work out down there. Will her applying for PR in any way put my green card application in jeopardy?
FWIW we are applying for green card via the asset route, since she does not make enough income to 'sponsor' me.
