Hello everyone,
I have just created my Express Entry Profile, my CRS score is around 350, going strictly by cutoff history it does not seem that this score is nearly enough to get an invitation. My IELTS score is already pretty high so the only sensible thing to do at this point is to try to get a job offer.
I am an IT professional, my goal would be to start applying and hopefully get an offer from one of the big IT guys.
Now, my question: how exactly is this supposed to work, let's say I get the job, which will maybe get my score high enough to qualify for an invite, then the whole PR wait will start.
Does the employer have to sit around and wait for my at least 6-month wait period while I get the PR approved? To be able to actually get there and start working? If this is the case, do employers actually do this? If not, do I come to Canada early somehow and start the job, while the PR is being approved?
Apologies for any obvious answer questions, I am new to all this and still working things out.
Thank you for reading.
