Hi, can someone help me with the below query

I got my AOR on 6th May and Medical on 12th May. I am currently in IP1 stage.

1.What is the process after an application clears IP2? What is the PPR stage, what is required to be done and how much time does it take to get stamping on Passport?
2.My passport expires in June 2019, should I renew my passport now (when my application is in IP1) OR get it renewed after VFS stamping (assuming PPR comes in)? If I renew it now, how can I make the change (of new passport number) in my EE profile, since it does not show me an edit button?

I am really confused on the 2nd query, can some one help me out through his/her experience through the process.
