Hi ,

My current score is 344. Here is the breakup . I am a Master's and my spouse has a BE degree. I am having her BE degree assessed. How many points will that add up? Also, is my Language profiency score good, here is my IELTS breakup, I got screwed over in the reading, which is shocking...

Do I have a chance for PR? Does having a lawyer help? He mentioned the Provincial nomination method. Please advise.

Your only option is to go through Nomination which is not under an applicant's control.
however there are some provinces that may find your NOC eligible and that is the best route to consider in your case owing to your current score.

When I tried recalculating your score with spouse it is at 380, and if you were to get a 8.0 in reading your score boosts to 440.
Are you sure you calculated your score right ? to summarize you have a masters, the IELTS scores are yours, CELPIP is spouse's score, spouse has undergrad degree in engineering, your foreign work experience is over 3 years - Is this correct?

@mr.preetsingh is an immigration expert and you can check with him about your possible options.

Ans- I am already in the pool, and its showing 366 on the CIC website. So you feel, if I max my score (which I should have - frankly I didn't know that you can give for a recheck , I would have), should I go for another try?

Ans -

Masters - Yes
IELTS scores are mine - Yes
Spouse hasn't given any exam as yet
spouse has undergrad degree in engineering - No, She has a 3 year diploma in Fashion design.
your foreign work experience is over 3 years - Yes. More than 6 + years

Please advise. Thank you
