As the topic says, I already have application in process through provincial nominee. The provincial nominee was submitted in paper. After talking to Canada immigration we have been told that we should have an answer by Jul/2017 (which is 18 months from submission). Also we have been said that it looks like we have passed eligibility.
Today I have received invitation to apply through express entry. Should I go through the bother (collect all paper work again) plus all the fees (I can afford it but it is still money) or should I just leave it and rely on the provincial nominee?

- Having an ITA you can probably land after 6 months from your application submission (if you will go through EE route, you need to notify your provincial nominee program of that)
- If you decide to go through the provincial nominee, it will take way longer time may end up two years (remember because you have applied for provincial nominee through paper application, once you get the acceptance, you only be able to apply through paper based PR process "which takes around 15 months now I guess" )

So its really your choice, but if I were to choose, I would definitely go with EE.

Thanks and best of luck!

Accept the ITA complete everything if all went well then send an e-mail inform your province you dont want to continue with the application.

Go for the ITA. No point in waiting.

Go for ITA (make sure you have all required documents to avoid cancellation/refusal), it is faster (if time is a big factor for you).

I'll probably wait awhile even after applying through EE until I get a concrete result before informing PN about withdrawing my application. Its better to play safe.
