Already Applied PR in Skilled Class , Can i apply again in Family sponsership

Hi Everyone,

I had applied my PR file under skilled category in Aug, 2006 and now my son having PR of canada. My query is that at this stage my son can apply my case under family sponsorship class or not ? will it affect my old application or not ?

Senior's plz help.

I'm pretty sure you can't have more than one PR application in process at a time.

Yes, he can, but since he has to meet the Low Income Cutoff Figure from Canadian sources in the year before the application, and it is 34 months to process at Mississauga then the overseas processing http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/08-fc-parents.asp your FSW will probably be finished first.
