Hey All.
As you can tell from my signature, my husband and I are almost 1 year into the sponsorship process.
CIC received our application on June 26, 2017.
It is now June 22, 2018.
I am his sponsor and our visa office is Manila.
The last update to our application was on May 31, 2018 when GC Key updated to show that they are now processing his background check. (No criminal record, he has never been in trouble with the law)
For the last month, there has been nothing.
If i email IRCC Manila on June 27, 2018 (next Wednesday) it will be past the 1 year date. Will they be able to give me an explanation as to why its taking so long to process?
At this point, i am worried that his visa will be denied.
Although, He has no criminal record, he passed medicals, and he isn't in any sort of extremist group.
So Criminality, and Security checks should be passed.
