Allowed gap between 2 courses

Hello, I am a January intake student. My course will end in August and I am planning to apply for another course but in January intake. So basically there will be a gap of four months in between 2 courses. Is that okay? Or will I have to apply for a course in September?

Hey, That's okay, gap of 150 days is acceptable.

Hey, are you sure? My counselor said that it has to be consecutive

Yes sure, you can also check it on cic website. But you have to get admission in 2nd program before your 1st program ends and submit for study permit extension after your 1st program ends. Only then you can work full time in that gap period. And gap od 150 days is considered as consecutive.usually its 4 months120 days from September to December.in January program starts.
