I'm new to this forum but I can see the great information that is being posted on daily basis. I have 2 questions please, I'm Oct 14th applicant NOC2281, mode of payment is DD, I have seen that some members are saying that they have contacted the bank and confirmed that the DD has been encashed, I contacted my bank and they told me it is not possible to know that as the amount has been debited from my account the same day the cheque was issued.... Would anyone please confirm?
My second question, is that I contacted CIC yesterday to get my UCI, and luckily the lady who answered my call was so helpful and she provided me with my UCI, but upon checking the ecas online, it shows:
"We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:"
So, is this normal? I have applied through an attorney. And how should I put the UCI number online; the 8 digits consecutively (xxxxxxxx) or (xxxx-xxxx)???
