VFS updates take place at 1:30 on Fridays so in a way, this week is gone too! Anyone had change in their passport status??

I am starting to wonder that what if I don't get my passport back even at end of August?? Is that a possibility?? I don't mind waiting for a visa for even 10 more days but I just need assurance that they WILL return the passport before the studies begin :s
