Sad news for all those (including me) who have applied for Immigration to Canada through LONDON VISA OFFICE.

The Foreign Service Officers in London Visa office (Immigration dept) have gone on strike until further notice :(

Hi Roch Khan

I feel so sorry to hear this news. I saw your posts and know you have been waiting for more than 4 years.

Hopefully after the strike, the officers will work faster than before!

@Linda2004 : I hope so !

Just pray that this STRIKE gets over soon and people who are waiting for the decision of their pending applications from years n years should get a positive result soon now !

Hello, I have heard from a retired immigration officer that although they're on strike, they are still turning up for work but working to rule. At least this is a bit of good news. :)

@muhammaddarkhan : Yes my friend we all have to just keep on waiting with fingers crossed,as no one has an idea when this strike will get over !

HI Guys
do you know what is the normal processing time for PR for self employed with CSQ (Quebec) via the London office?

I cannot figure it out. there is tons of info about skilled worked but not clear for Quebec - self employed program

A long long time... My application was received by London nearly two and a half years ago and I haven't heard a thing since :(

Less than 5 applications per year, so processing times are not posted.

@peejay65 : under which category did you apply and when exactly ?

I applied under the Self Employed category and received my UCI and file number in July 2011... :(
