All stages are passed but Security is not started

I have never been to Middle East either, but Ive been to the US for four months once, and some other countries also… hopefully we dont need to wait so long. Anyways, our application is still being in normal processing time right? Finger crossed.

I and my wife have been to Dubai for 5 days for my honeymoon. Does that make a difference?

I have no idea bro. All are just guessing with no clear pattern. Most people (I watched) that security check passed so fast (there was one with only 10 days) cos they didnt have travel history. Again, we are just guessing.

Sorry to hear this man, 6 month is too much, I am not able to understand why and how this can happen
 
Even the possibility of waiting 6 months, 1 year or more only just for Security is frustrating. Since there is no pattern, none of us can be sure how long we should wait to receive portal email. Just we can wish we can be the lucky ones, but still not helps for anxiety
 
I believe we should share any progress, any update or any news about our applications here, which can motivate us. I hope we can get our COPRs soon

Guys, it seems I received an update today some time between 12 - 4 pm (Ottawa local time), nothing changed in my profile of course since this is 3rd GU for me, I dont know what this can mean

hahaha :) all of us hopefully get the portal email soon or later. Honestly, there are many applicants here whose all stages are passed but security is not started. I hope this thread can help them to not get more anxious by looking at our timelines or discussions.

I am still thinking that it is a kind of glitch, but let's see
