Dear All

We have very little inventory left to be processed according to my calculations

FSW : MI-1
MI-1 : Appl. Rec'd between February 27, 2008 and June 26, 2010
Assessment for Eligibility Selection Decision Final Decision Total
4,795 9,201 18,645 32,641
The above are the figures for whole world , so only 9201 are "In - Process" and 4795 not even "in-Process"

Now lets come to NDVO

Assessment for Eligibility Selection Decision Final Decision Total
352 1,792 2,909 5,053

So they have selected " In- Process" 1792 cases as on April 2012 and the selection rate is 43% some are rejected at Medical Stage, some due to JD mismatch, Some are eliminated in Back ground investigations. I feel that after NDVO refunds the Pre-june applications which are 33990 eligible for refund and only 40 applications eligible for processing, they will start and process all the applications in three months

MI-2

Assessment for Eligibility Selection Decision Final Decision Total
39 469 752 1,260

MI-3

Assessment for Eligibility Selection Decision Final Decision Total
6 955 855 1,816

So MI-1+2+3 "Only 3613 " applications are pending for processing or selection decision, and the rate of selection is 43% in MI-1 and 98% in MI-2 and 3 , so not more than 2000 applications are going to get the Visa.

At present ( it seems from data ) that they are quite occupied with the backlog refund.

My calculation is that most of MI-1 will be processed by Nov 2012 except those having some deficient documents or pending reports etc.

So cheers guys Mapple leaf will be on your PP by Nov end, hope these figures will help to bring the anxiety level down

Re: Pre- June 2010 Applicants having Processing Date Connect here

APPROVAL RATE

Immigration Categories Last 12 Months
April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012

Cases Passed Cases Refused Approval Rate* Total # of Visas Issued

Federal Skilled Workers (C-50**) 15,053 16,831 47% 39,220
Federal Skilled Workers (MI-1) 9,347 10,029 48% 26,138
Federal Skilled Workers (MI-2) 5,248 3,786 58% 12,642
Federal Skilled Workers (MI-3) 458 3,016 13% 440
Federal Skilled Workers (MI-2 & MI-3) 5,706 6,802 46% 13,082

So consider that in MI2&3 the rejection is less as the full application package is sent at the selection stage, there will be much less approval rate in MI-1

Re: Pre- June 2010 Applicants having Processing Date Connect here

In my fist post I have averaged out the selection rate as very few applications left for decision in MI-2 & 3 so considered only 43% for MI-1 and 98% for MI-2 & 3 from the left over data not the approved one

The fact that the approval rate is too low for M1 is a matter of concern. Does this mean that those who are already In-Process need to worry as less than half of these applicants can expect visas and the rest would be rejeced? :( Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi dskairon,

When it comes to pre feb cases in new delhi, the data has some confusion. All 2004 applicants and first quarter of 2005 new delhi applicants have received updated document request in 2008. But New Delhi has not cleared even the first quarter of 2004 applicants till now. But the data shows that only 131 cases passed Selection decision among pre feb 2008 cases. All pre feb 2008 updated cases have sedec 0 in caips but ob 442 clearly says that even if seldec is 0 in processing system,if the paper files shows that applicant passed seldec, then the case will be further processed. Also evaluation of skilled worker programme in 2011 found out that selection decision was deleted in processing system for old cases where there is interview waiver. That is why caips was replaced by gcms. If you look carefully the data which you are referring about, pre c -50 data is downloaded from caips . Also minister say about lucky 20000 while data downloaded from caips show only lucky 15134 pre c-50 cases. So we need some more time to get clarified how much pre c-50 cases are hidden there in new delhi. Please pray for them.

Dear Noon

For C-50 cases there is no clarity, it will be in next quarterly data update after refunds, lets hope for the best and we must guide them to apply through PNP as its still open and its part of Canada.
