Hello everyone! ;D

does anyone know if there is a fee to CIC you have to pay when you get an ITA? Our score is 419 - i'm wondering if we may get an ITA towards the end of April/May - any ideas anyone?!

Thanks!

After getting ITA, you need to pay Application fee (varies with family member count) during your Documents submission.. For more information please check following links..

Dear All,

I have 3 questions, and need your advice:

1- I got CLB9 (8 Listening - 8 Reading - 7.5 Speaking - 7.5 Writing) and CIC has assigned 125 points instead of 128, does anyone know why??!!
2- I believe that I might get higher points if I applied without spouse.. so If I did so ... he can accompany me or not?? what is the difference??
3- Can I change my EE profile and make without spouse ?? or I have to create a new one??

Thanks for your help,,, really appreciated.

2- I believe that I might get higher points if I applied without spouse.. so If I did so ... he can accompany me or not?? what is the difference?? In that case, your spouse can't get PR and can't accompany you.. Only family members in your application can come with you
3- Can I change my EE profile and make without spouse ?? or I have to create a new one?? Some applicants created both, but I personally don't like that although i know that without spouse i can increase my points significantly.. But, if you want to migrate with your family what is the point of creating standalone application? just my thought though..

Thanks for your help,,, really appreciated.

True, there is no point of doing so, we need to migrate as a family,,, then I think it will take time as my score is only 390;

Thanks hamidur .. :)

Age and other factors may lower the score.

Hi All,

I am confused with EE definitions for work experience.

I have only TA/RA, one year in my home country and 1 year in canada under student visa.

Can I use them for FSW EE?

thanks!

Hello Everyone

Confused with the passport name I need to mention on EE form. Mostly Passport Name in INDIA is like Last Name:- <Blank>, and First Name :- <Full Name>. So is my and friend of mine's case as well. Last Name is left blank, and first name contains the "Lakhwinder Singh". Until now, I have kept the form with my last name as "SINGH" in EE application form, and First Name as "LAKHWINDER". But, the form says, fill in the name EXACTLY as mentioned in the passport, and then application form doesn't accept blanks. :'( Should I mention "Not Applicable" in the last name, or I keep it as it is with "Singh" last name?

Please help.

Thanks
Lucky

As a TA, your work experience is perhaps cut off by summer break, which makes it less than one year..

Dear All,

As per WES my final assessment is Bachelor's Degree (4 years).

Breakdown as follows:
BBA (4 years)- Bangladesh
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's Degree (3 years)

MBA (2 years)- Bangladesh
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's Degree* (4 years)
*The equivalency for this credential is stated in conjunction with
study previously completed.

My question is which option should i choose to calculate points?

Thanks in advance

Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of 3 or more years.

Good answers and explanation... +1 for you

Yes dear. Additionally, if you applied now by yourself, you would still need to submit the related documents of your spouse (even including her health check i think) -- it wouldn't be less troublesome for you at all.

Plus, in the future after you have settled in Canada, it will pose some difficulty for you to sponsor your spouse to go there, as they will question why your spouse did not apply together with you in the first place. -- my husband's mother's cousin is facing with this problem right now. So just apply together. :)
