Finally my BG check IN Progress now. I am inland.
It was not started since June 27, 2015. Almost 3 months. Thanks God.

still patiently waiting

finally landed succesfuly at an international airport in canada..,, thanks to god almighty everything went smooth..
below my detailed time line

got invitation on feb 26
submittted profile on april 24
first update in my cic on may 6 ie medical passeed( did medical on april 8)
second update on may 24 - BG in progress
june july no updates
august 10 change in ECAS ie application in process
august 24 request for landing fees
decision made on september 1
september 13 request passport
requested cic to change visa office to local vo
submittted passport to local VO on sepetmebr 21
recived passport back on september 25 with visa stamped
landed on october at an international airport

AS you all can see no background check started - no updates from august 10 at all
I have bad feellings about it.

Hi guys,

I just received ( Nov 7 ) a ghost Email from CIC telling that my application was updated.. But My Cic and ECAS Still the same.. ( no changes )
Hope is a good sign Smiley

I think you should call cic as they may type you email wrong . It happened before as they need to manually type email to send PPR

Did u get any update on your application. My ecas is IN PROCESS since 9 oct 2015. No updates since than. My application was refused and again IN PROCESS.
