hello

6 years ago i got a ticket in my home country. I had 0.28 Mg/L alcohol.
Its not a promille and BAC. Can i immigrate in canada by federal program or not ? Who know exactly ? I have all documents from police where was written that i had 0.28 Mg/L

Very well bro, you can still apply. All you need is come clean, present your documents as it is. You will only be denied if you have several criminal records or terrorism associated records

I dont have criminal records. but unless 0.28 mg/l it no more than are allow in Canada? ? I have 0.28 mg/L alcohol act in my police certificate

You'll have to take your chances and apply - declare this and hope for the best.

Some of the law I learnt from being in Canada is DUI is considered serious criminal offence if you were charged & convicted of it in court. It make you inadmissible to Canada for 5-10 years if you were convicted. Here is the link to support what I am saying. Read second last paragraph at Bottom.

But as its been more than 5 years you have good chances of getting Immigration if Canada if found eligible but you have to apply for rehabilitation. But later if will depend on VO to decide whether to grant you entry or not.

It doesn't please. I thought that there are certain amounts of alcohol in blood and if in Canada it not a crime, it is possible to immigrate

Did you just go through that link I sent you. It say you are caught driving impaired then you are charged under Canadian Criminal Code ("CCC"), it simply means it is a criminal offence. Just go though that link I sent you. Read whole thing it has all answers.

Ok. But as a matter of fact its not alcohol level that matter all that matters is whether you were convicted of not and if you were then what charges were you convicted of.
If you were convicted then if might show up in your PCC from that country, and can create a problem in your PR application.
If you were not convicted of anything then you don't have to worry about it.

So I am afraid because in my PCC is written that there was a penalty for alcohol, but criminal records weren't. Simply penalty.
