Hello everyone, I have a few questions that I would really like an answer to if someone is able.

First off, and hopefully the only question I need answering too is

My wife just got notice that her PR application has been completed , and now we are waiting for her Landing Interview (Inland).

However, we have recently planned a trip to her home country, and we are hoping that we will be able to go and come back before we get the letter stating when the landing interview will be. However, we are also wondering if worst case scenario, we get the letter much sooner then our trip and we need to reschedule, does anyone know how far ahead we are able to reschedule the landing interview for?

And secondly, if we arent able to reschedule the landing interview for when we will have returned from the trip, does anyone know how we would be able to still go on the trip? Assuming all goes well at the landing interview, and she's approved, I believe she would receive an IMM 5292 form “Confirmation of Permanent Residence" , which I've been told would not allow her to leave and return to Canada without the actual PR Card. Is there any other options as to forms we could file for so that she would be able to leave and come back if she hadn't received her PR card by the time the trip is?

You need to have PR card or PRTD to enter Canada.

And is she able to apply for the PRTD right after the landing interview and it goes well?

If so how long does it usually take them to send the PRTD?

1. She has to apply outside Canada, and it takes anywhere from 1-2 weeks.

And there is no way that she is able to apply for the PRTD before she has even left Canada?

Or is she able to use for example her Mother as a representative to file for the PRTD ahead of time?

She need to apply from outside Canada. Also they need the passport to stamp the entry visa. Processing time 1 to 2 weeks. Do you have visa exempt passport?

Then she can enter Canada with her visa exempt passport.
