Hi Guys, I apply for work permit under AIPP, so I live in USA with an asylum case pending. I would like to know if my status can affect my application, does anyone knows someone in the same situation who got approved

Work permit has been rejected, but they told I was eligible for permanent residence that I been applied for and still waiting for the CoPR

Yes, I should have permanent resident status or should be in my home country to apply for work permit coz work permit is like a visitor visa.
But I was good to apply for Permanent Residence.
