AIP approved but still waiting response from IRCC

Hi All,

I got AIP approval in Aug 2020, I completed my first semester now but I did my biometrics in Dec 2020 but still waiting decision, in this time can I defer my studies to the next intake, If I did it may affect my study visa because I enrolled only one year program.

Why IRCC taking so much time now to reviewing the application.

Hello,

I don't think its wise to defer at this point without cogent reason(s). Since you got AIP, there is every possibility that you may get your visa.

Why not request for your GCMS Notes and see what lies therein.
