To apply for ainp you must be living and working in alberta as far as i know

thats true im an ainp you need certain experience on the category your applying to and need to be working physically in alberta for atleast 6 months before applying

That is how it was for us too 4.5 years ago. We needed proof of work experience from our home countrt and we had to be employed full time for 6 months and had to be living here since 6 months before we could apply for ainp.
